Criminal Damage to a vehicle-Tyres slashed-No CCTV or Witnesses and no scope CSI-Victim has suspicions about who could be doing this .Other issues reported and Beat Team aware and officers have been dealing.

Septic Tank stolen from a field –No scope CSI,No Witnesses or CCTV –Farmer aware details of septic tank recorded .



2 people arrested for Production of a Class B drug-Cannabis. One received a cannabis warning and the other a caution.

Malicious communications-Victim does not want any further action as has sorted it out civilly

Stable rugs/equine equipment stolen-Local enquiries Crime Prevention given and a sign up to Horsewatch.Horsewatch/Farmwatch messages circulated and Neighbourhood watch.


Combe Florey

2 vehicles stolen from drive-a Vauxhall Vivaro and Land Rover and dog missing-Suspect/Suspects entered kitchen via insecure back door vehicle keys stolen –dog has since returned home. Under Investigation.



Theft of a Lamb Creep Feeder sometime between June 2016 until noticed 23/02/2017 –No further enquiries to be made at this time due to time frame.

Assault- Under Investigation.

Please be aware that there has been a spike in Rural Theft and Theft of motor vehicles across West Somerset. With the car thefts offenders are entering dwellings that are insecure or breaking in stealing car keys and helping themselves to the occupants vehicles-Please note Theft of 2 vehicles from Combe Florey.

Intelligence is being collated and officers are being updated with this information as well as gathering it. Offenders with this type of MO are also being looked at.
